The children of Becky’s Foundation Orphanage, who were part of the beneficiaries of the humanitarian gestures of the late Christian Atsu broke down in tears as they come to terms with the death of their benefactor.

These kids were adopted, parented and enrolled in school by the late footballer and they were provided with some items to support their education and life from time to time. This was part of the benevolence Atsu did through his foundation, ‘Arms Around the Child’.

A report by GhOne monitored by 1Family Radio indicated that these hopeless children are yet to come to terms with Atsu’s death as they weep while narrating some of the kind gestures of Atsu towards them when he was alive.

One of the children noted that Atsu was like a father, uncle and a brother to them. “He gave us hope for the future but as at now, we are hopeless,” he lamented. According the child, Atsu was the only person providing them with a good education and also supporting them but after his death, they have become dejected.Another girl recounted that a party is organized for them anytime Atsu comes around amidst tears. She furthered that sometimes the late footballer takes them to Shoprite to  have fun.
