The 13th African Games has been declared by the Local Organizing Committee to take place between the 8th and 23rd of March 2023.
The game will serve as the qualifying grounds for the 2024 Olympic competition.
This announcement comes off after a two-day survey by the Africa Union Sports Council. Dr. Decius Chipande, the coordinator of the African Union Sports Council in a press conference monitored by 1Family Radio commended Ghanaians for their hospitality.
It was noted that the organization of this competition was delayed because of some disagreements and the facilities which will be used were also not equipped.
He his submission, he expressed his gratitude to the heads of the Local Organizing Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the president for ensuring that the games take place successfully.
The athletes must arrive in Ghana from the 5th to the 7th of March.
