Peter Tenganabang Nanfuri, the former Inspector General of Police under the presidency of the late Jerry John Rawlings has been confirmed dead.
He reportedly died on Friday, February 17,2023 at the age of eighty. The late Peter was appointed the on October 1, 1996 to January 21,2001.
The late IGP was born in October 12, 1942 in Jirapa in the Upper West Region. He was the Paramount Chief of Jirapa Traditional Area with the title Naa Ansoleh Ganaa II.
He had his tertiary education at the University of Ghana, Legon and he was once the Director of the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI).
