The family of the late Ahmed Saule has charged Kennedy Agyapong to authenticate his claim of paying the school fees of their late brother.
On January 31,2023, the Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong alleged that he paid the school fees of Ahmed Saule without knowing until one of his staff told him. When he was told by one of his staff that Ahmed still comes to the premises of Net2, he ordered them to beat him up the next time he comes around because he might set them up but he didn’t order anyone to kill him.
Kennedy furthered that when he becomes the president, he will investigate the case rigorously to prove his innocence.
However, the family of the late journalist has refuted this allegation by the MP calling it ridiculous. They stated they are disheartened by the statement of the lawmaker. The family also wish to tell the whole public that the statement by Kennedy is not true because he has never financed the schooling of their late brother.
They challenged him to show evidence that authenticates his allegation. They also stated that their brother was killed because the lawmaker showed his pictures on his TV station.
They cautioned him not to use their brother’s name for his political gain. The family is also urging all Ghanaians not to give hears to what the lawmaker is saying.
